I'm back!

Oct. 22nd, 2009 | 08:59 am

Hi everyone. Long time no update. :)

I'm happy to say I finally got the go-ahead to blog about the gorgeous cover art for my upcoming Samhain story Sins of the Father. I made a post about the cover last month, but I had to make it private when I learned I needed to wait until the image was uploaded to the publisher's website before I could publicly squee about it. So hurrah, the time has come! The story will be available November 17th, but you can read an excerpt here.

♥_♥ I made sure to get the squeeing out of my system so I wouldn't end up posting a whole entry of this: alfjdhalsJDHFfdhhfdl!!11!1

Tonight my editor at Samhain showed me the cover art for my forthcoming story Sins of the Father. I'm a big fan of Anne Cain's covers, so I was delighted to see this beauty staring back at me when I opened the attachment.

I love everything about it. The amber and gold color scheme, the intensity in the models' eyes, the poses, the lettering, the temple. It captures the essence of feudal Japan so perfectly. The kanji and hiragana characters are the cherries on top. I only wish short stories made it to print so I could hold this in my hands. But alas! Check out an excerpt from Sins of the Father here. I can't wait until its release on November 17th!

Intro Post

And with these words I introduce myself to the romance world stage! I wish I had an accompanying meme to make this more interesting. In lieu of such entertaining fluffitude, I guess I'll have to settle for a more formal débutante ball intro post. Hi, I'm Anna O'Neill and I'm hopelessly addicted to Vitamin Water, shiny things, and dead Greek tragedians.

Speaking of shiny things, I'm excited to announce that my first work of romance fiction, Poisoned Heart, will be released tonight in an anthology featuring three other talented writers. Noble Romance Publishing had the brilliant idea of compiling an anthology of historical m/m fiction. And the cover. Is shiny. Exhibit A:

Check it out! Story blurbs can be found under the cut.
